Rainforest Retreat Salon is the home of Ignite Your Light Beauty, created by owner Holly in December 2025 after rediscovering her passion for beauty earlier that year.

After returning to the beauty industry in summer 2025, Holly went on to study her Level 3 Beauty qualification in January 2026, specialising in advanced, non-invasive and pain-free electrical facial treatments, alongside massage.

Rainforest Retreat Salon officially opened its doors in April 2026, bringing Holly’s vision of a beauty salon with a difference to life.

 

A little bit different

From the very beginning, Holly knew she wanted her salon to be colourful, relaxing and full of personality. The rainforest theme felt like the perfect fit, creating a vibrant yet peaceful space with a spa-like atmosphere where clients can leave the outside world behind.

At Rainforest Retreat, beauty isn't about changing who you are. It's about enhancing your natural beauty, taking time for yourself and leaving feeling refreshed, relaxed and a little more like you.

Holly offers a range of beauty treatments including advanced facial treatments, massage, manicures, pedicures and lash and brow treatments, with the salon continuing to grow as new treatments and services are introduced.

For Holly, a salon should be about more than simply coming in for a treatment and leaving again.

She loves meeting new people and believes that exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything she does. Rainforest Retreat is a place where you can come and chat, laugh, have a cry, share what's on your mind—or say absolutely nothing at all.

Maybe you want to talk through your week while having your nails done. Maybe you need somewhere to let it all out. Or perhaps you simply want to close your eyes, switch off from the world and melt into a relaxing massage.

The name Ignite Your Light reflects Holly’s belief that everyone has their own natural light and beauty.

Through her treatments and the experience she creates at Rainforest Retreat, Holly’s aim is to help you take a little time for yourself, feel comfortable in your own skin and ignite that light from within.
